An opportunity on regular nights

We are seeking an experienced Blown Film Extrusion Machine Operator for a polythene bag manufacturer that produces wide range of polythene film and bags. Job entails close attention to detail & moderate lifting.
The successful candidate will ideally have AT LEAST 2/3 years of experience in blown film extrusion as an operator, a good attitude and be willing to learn, stable work history & solid work ethic. This position is for regular Night shift (7pm till 7am) Monday to Friday.
Summary:
This person will be responsible for operating, adjusting, and maintaining extruder and in-line printing equipment.
Duties:
• Reads job specs and procures all applicable tools
• Sets up machine to accommodate for job orders and specs in the production run
• Conducts machine adjustments as needed to meet customer specs
• Ensure desired output is achieved with robust quality
• Performs checks for compliance to customer specs and quality standards
• Identifies and promptly reports to supervisors equipment malfunction, material, safety, and or quality issues.
• Work closely with other members of the team to assure a cooperative and friendly atmosphere with regard to the daily activities of production
• Completes forms, documents, and quality measurements per production run
• Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
Salary & benefits:
The hourly rate will be around £8-£9 per hour according to experience and there will be an attendance allowance of £70 month. You can expect to earn in the region of £26,000-£29,000 per year in total.
After 6 months you will be eligible to join the pension scheme
Education and or Related Experience:
No Qualification is necessary but at least 2/3 years of hands on experience in blown film extrusion is preferred.
